There will be a Celebration of Genise’s Life on Sunday June 1st at 11:00am. Heading to Grandmother Rock on State Beach, one of her favorite places, to spread Genise’s ashes. Then over to Ed’s (West Street by the decorated crab pots) for a toast and to share stories of her beautiful light she shared with all of us. July and August Genise’s art will be shown at the Lighthouse (Genisespieces_art).

Our Trinidad community has lost our very talented and beautiful Genise Smith who passed away last night. Genise was our bread and ice cream maker until she got sick. She was SO passionate and creative with the ice cream flavors she created. Her art also graced our walls several times. (Genisespieces_art).Our hearts and love goes out to her beloved daughter Eva and Eva’s father, Kevin. Genise will be missed and memories we have with her will be remembered and cherished. It was our blessing to know her.
