Over the last ten days, I've been reminded over and over again that we were never meant to carry life's hardest moments alone.
Ten days ago, I had to rush Eminem to the emergency veterinary hospital after she began having cluster seizures. We learned she has a large mass near her heart, and because of its location and her FeLV diagnosis, surgery isn't a good option. Our focus now is keeping her comfortable, controlling her seizures, and giving her the best quality of life possible.
The good news is that she's doing so much better. She's been seizure-free on her medication, she's eating and drinking well again, and little by little, I'm getting to know my new girl.
