🌿 The History of Lemon Balm 🌿

Long before it ever made its way into modern herbal cabinets, lemon balm was known as the “gladdening herb” 🤍

Dating back over 2,000 years, lemon balm was used by ancient civilizations like the Greeks and Romans for its calming and uplifting effects. The physician Dioscorides wrote about its ability to support digestion and soothe the nervous system—something we still use it for today ✨

In the Middle Ages, lemon balm became a staple in monastery gardens across Europe 🌱

End of the day, one more video, and we’re just rolling with it over here 😂🌿

But quick tip while we’re out harvesting—trimming your lavender the right way actually encourages MORE flowers 💜✨
And just to be clear… we are NOT out here growing whole new plants from a snip 😂 just more blooms!! (we’ll call that a little human error in filming lol)

A good trim (right above the leaf nodes) helps your plant stay full, healthy, and keeps those flowers coming—second round is usually a little smaller, but still so worth it 🙌

Just don’t cut too far into the woody part—stay in the soft growth and she’ll keep producing
Little harvest now = more blooms later 🌿

Real life, real garden, and sometimes end-of-day brain moments 😂
