❤️🤍💙❤️🤍💙Happy250America💙🤍❤️💙🤍❤️ There were 21 years between siblings for my Mom, her being the youngest. Which made me the youngest cousin. Nicknamed-Yardbird, you could find me outside getting into something. With mom and Uncle Don in California and Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Dean in Nebraska, we spilt our summers between the two. I’m sure they don’t know it, but I think of all of them, often. I absolutely adored my uncles who were navy men. 6 foot 4 giants to me then, and my Aunt who taught me to crochet, cook and bake. (The Lemon bars🍋 😉)They have all passed on, but I still think about the amazing childhood Chris and I had together. We called Uncle Don’s house, The Ranch. This picture was from July 4 1976. 50 years ago tonight. They had stables and an arena in the backyard in Saratoga, Ca. That night they shot off fireworks that seemed to go on forever. It was Heaven to me. Sending love up with each fireworks tonight… Missing everyone this year. 🤍✝️🕊️with love, Yardbird.
