I’m down to 2 open spots for the 2027 Local Press Summer Concert Series, and I’m looking for a couple of artists who fit what we’ve tried to build over the years.

I’m looking for:

• A younger artist or band that Twain Harte probably hasn’t discovered yet.

• A mix of original music and covers,but make the covers your own. I’m really trying to find another Justice Ramos type.

• A more mellow, laid-back vibe. We’ve already got plenty of the louder rock acts covered.

• Please don’t recommend bands that are already well established. One of my favorite parts of this concert series is giving new artists a chance to play in front of an amazing audience and helping them gain some exposure.

If that sounds like you (or someone you know), send me a message with a few videos or recordings. I’d love to take a listen.

One favor: If you’re recommending someone, please don’t tag them or send me their name asking me to contact them. Instead, encourage them to reach out to me directly. I want to hear from the artists themselves.

What a weekend.

I just want to say thank you to our locals, cabin owners, and everyone who chose to spend part of their Fourth of July weekend with us. This was the busiest weekend we’ve had in our 5+ years at the Local Press, and we’re incredibly grateful.

We hit a few unexpected bumps along the way, including one of our biggest suppliers not being able to make our delivery. It reminded us just how much we value the amazing local bakers, farmers, and roasters we get to work with every week. Those relationships matter, and this weekend proved it.

We did have to close a little early today, but we’re looking at that as motivation. We’ll spend tomorrow restocking, making a few adjustments, and getting ready to serve you again.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your support. You continue to remind us why we love serving this community. See you Tuesday morning.

We’ve got a change to our live music schedule for Friday, July 11, and we couldn’t be happier!

We’re excited to welcome local favorite Ben Eaton to the Local Press stage for a solo set featuring his signature blend of folk and Americana. After the rockin’ weekend we just had, this is the perfect way to slow things down, relax, and enjoy a great evening of live music.

If you’ve never heard Ben play, you’re in for a treat. And if you have, you already know why we’re excited.

Come on out, grab some dinner and a drink, and help us show Ben what makes the Local Press crowd so special. Let’s give him a warm Twain Harte welcome and make it another unforgettable Saturday night!

🇺🇸 Important Local Press Update for Saturday, July 4! 🇺🇸

If the last couple of days are any indication, tomorrow is going to be a busy one!

We’ll be open 7:00 AM–3:00 PM serving breakfast and lunch as usual. Hard stop on breakfast at 11:30.

Then we’re excited to welcome our friends Ticket To Ride to the Local Press stage from 7:00–10:00 PM! We normally have live music from 8–10, but they’re worth an extra hour.

During the show, our espresso bar and Cantina will be open serving drinks all evening. We will not be serving dinner during the concert this week. This has become our Fourth of July tradition while some of our staff are away for the holiday, and it helps us keep the evening running smoothly for everyone.

You’re more than welcome to bring your own food and enjoy it on our patio, or grab dinner from one of our amazing neighboring restaurants and bring it over while you enjoy the music. We love supporting the other small businesses that make Twain Harte such a special place. (Feel@free to bring me@some pot stickers😂)

Just a quick heads up! We will have our DoorDash shut down for the day as well as our online ordering. While we love and appreciate all of our customers that order from us through those avenues daily, it’s an extremely busy day in town and we wanna be able to serve our face-to-face customers appropriately. It’s going to be an AWESOME day in Twain Harte…but parking is going to be at a premium!

The fun starts in the 9:00 hour with a Little League All-Star Game at the Press Box in Eproson Park. Then comes one of our favorite traditions, the classic car show and parade! Expect road closures for a few hours in front of The Rock, The Creamery, Mini Golf, Shave Ice, and Local Press.

The day doesn’t stop there! Enjoy live music in the park from 6–8 PM, then head over to Local Press for live music from 8–10 PM.

It’s going to be a FULL day, so please plan ahead, drive safely, park thoughtfully, and above all…be kind to one another.

One last thing: our restaurants here have small kitchens, and with a crowd like this, there will probably be some wait times. Please be patient, relax, and enjoy everything Twain Harte has to offer. If you’re in a big hurry today, this might be the perfect day to visit another town.

The boxes showed up today, and they’ll officially hit the shelves tomorrow!

A huge thank you to Amos Screen Printing for absolutely knocking it out of the park once again. The quality is incredible, and we can’t wait for everyone to see them.
