👻 Does The Spruce Lodge Have a Story to Tell? 👻

The Spruce Lodge has been a bar since 1941, but the building itself dates back to the early 1900s. That’s more than a century of history, countless faces through the doors, memories made, stories shared, and years of life lived within these walls.

Over the years, I’ve had customers, former employees, and even previous owners ask me if I’ve ever seen or experienced anything paranormal here. My answer has always been no… but that hasn’t stopped people from wondering what stories this old building might hold. 👀

So now I’m curious… have YOU ever experienced anything unusual at The Spruce Lodge? Have you seen something you couldn’t explain, heard something when no one else was around, or had an experience that gave you goosebumps? Maybe you worked here years ago, owned the place, or were simply a customer who witnessed something strange.

👻 I want to hear your stories! Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this old building has a long history, and I have a feeling some of you might have a tale or two to tell. Share your experiences in the comments or send me a private message if you’d rather keep your story between us.

We’re collecting donations to help make Christmas a little brighter for Two Rivers families in need. 🎁

Bring a donation to The Spruce Lodge — toys, children’s gifts, hats & gloves, socks, gift cards, or a monetary donation.

🎄 THEN COMES THE FUN PART!

Every person who donates gets a Christmas ornament to write their name on and hang on our Giving Tree!

Every ornament represents someone who gave.
Every name represents someone who cared.

And by Christmas, we hope this tree is COVERED in them! ❤️

❤️ KNOW A FAMILY WHO COULD USE SOME EXTRA HELP THIS CHRISTMAS?

You can privately nominate a Two Rivers family in need to receive assistance through our Christmas Giving Tree.

Nomination forms will be available at The Spruce Lodge.

Please do not put a family’s private information on social media or publicly identify the family. All nominations will be kept confidential.

💔 Saying Goodbye to Joe Neuser 💔

Today was one of those days that reminds us just how much one person can mean to so many people. Seeing the line stretch around the corner, with so many people waiting to pay their respects and say goodbye to Joe, was both heartbreaking and beautiful. 💔

The pain of saying goodbye to someone so loved is hard to put into words. How do you say goodbye to a man who touched so many lives, who was a genuine friend, who worked hard, cared deeply, shared laughs, and made this world a better place simply by being in it?

Today, we saw just how far Joe’s impact reached. Every person standing in that line had a story, a memory, a friendship, or a piece of their heart that Joe had touched. So much love, so much sadness, and so many people who simply weren’t ready to say goodbye.

As we continue to gather again tomorrow, my heart goes out to Joe’s family, his closest friends, and everyone who is struggling with the reality that he is no longer here with us. There are no perfect words to ease this kind of pain. All we can do is hold each other a little closer, share our memories, and remember the man who brought us together in the first place.

Please keep Joe’s family and all of his friends in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏❤️ May they find strength in the love surrounding them, comfort in the memories they will carry forever, and peace in knowing just how much Joe meant to so many people.

Joe, you were loved more than words can ever express. The line of people waiting to say goodbye today was proof of that. You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts.

Rest peacefully, Joe. You made a difference in this world, and we will never forget you. 💔🙏❤️
