☕️Hi, I’m Maddie- the face behind Kodi’s Cups!!

I figured since we are starting new, I should introduce myself while we get everything happening in the background going…

I should tell you, this was never my plan. I went to IUP to get my Bachelor’s in Pre-PT/Natural Science, but obviously life had a different plan for me. I randomly found From Scratch hiring for their new location that was about to open and I thought, “well, what the heck, lets try this” and I turned into your favorite barista and later manager. I always had a love for coffee, but I never realized how much until I worked with Jamie.

Of course, I could not revamp our favorite coffee without including Kodi because of course my dog deserves to have my business named after him.

Outside of coffee, a huge part of my life is dance. So if you are not seeing me do something with coffee, I am more than likely at First Position Dance Academy teaching, choreographing or spending way too much time cutting music.

My biggest hope with Kodi’s Cups is to have really good coffee, good pricing and a nice addition to Uniontown.

Here is my hello to all of you, I can’t wait to make you a cup of coffee (or something else if you don’t like coffee) 💚

I have been waiting for the right moment to announce this… but your favorite coffee is coming back to you under a new name and owner.

When Jamie decided to close From Scratch my first thought was, “What am I going to do?” I was not ready to give up the coffee… so I took it with me. I immediately started putting things in the works with getting a location, moving the equipment and figuring out how to do it from scratch (no pun intended). I was also lucky enough to be working over with Perk and Play Cafe while I am getting everything sorted out.

Of course, I couldn’t make my own business without my not so little inspiration Mr. Kodi. The name, the logo and the theme is all based on my boy to give a little peak into my life and what I hold dear to my heart. 🐾

There has been a lot done, but I still have more to do, so we still have a little time before an official open date, but I am so happy to share the news…

Kodi’s Cups Cafe is coming soon…

Thank you to all that have helped me along the way; Jamie, Cole and Beau from Perk and Play, the Riggin family, Brice, Stiffler fam, and my family. I would have never fell in love with running a coffee business without Jamie and From Scratch so the biggest thank you goes out to the place we all loved.

Updates will be coming… see you soon💚☕️
