SCHEDULE UPDATE (save + share)

Crave will have two planned closures coming up:

**Sat, July 18 — closing at 12:00 PM**
We’ll be out supporting **Kid’s Biz Day** at the **North Pole Visitors Center (Safeway parking lot)**.

Come shop local and support our talented young entrepreneurs—our team will be in and out cheering them on, grabbing goodies, and handing out a few Crave gift cards too.

**Fri, July 24 at 12 PM → Sat, July 25 at 2 PM**

We’ll be closed to prep for an event, but we’ll be **open Saturday 2–5 PM** so you can still snag your pastries + coffees 😉

My friends, do I have a nose and skin treat for you!

Meet Kat!
Long time friend and now, my body oil dealer. It’s an obsessive habit but of the best variety!

The name Thick Madames was created during a 5th grade Thanksgiving lunch at Nordale Elementary when two CHONKY ten year olds stuffed their faces with delicious food and proudly sang about being “thick but cute!" As the years passed, more girls joined their little crew of Thick Madames, and together they grew up sharing wild adventures, tears, fights, and the kinds of stories that only come from friendships strong enough to withstand these past 25 plus years.
In Alaska, finding your people matters. There is strength in numbers during the dark days and it is important to have others to help lift you up with honesty, humor, and love. The Thick Madames represent that kind of friendship. They hope to become more than a small body oil business, growing into a collection of Alaskan women who do more than simply be beautifully thick with soft, glowy skin. The dream is to eventually give back to the community and to be a source of connection for anyone who needs friendship when the long, freezing nights grow a little too dark to face alone. ..And smelling fabulous in the process.

This one was extra special. Busy season has been busying, so I couldn’t finish my own son’s birthday cake like I’d planned.

My son gave a very specific, five-year-old version of a cake design, and I translated that into approximately 2.5 seconds of instructions for Erin before running out the door. Somehow, she understood the assignment… with time for extra credit. 💯

Friends, she did this in 2 hours 🤯

The smile on his face when he saw it was everything. ❤️
