🇺🇸 Hodgenville Independence Day Celebration 2026 🇺🇸

Join us Saturday, July 4 at Creekfront Park for an evening full of food, fun, music, fireworks, and community as we celebrate 250 years of freedom!

The celebration begins at 5 PM ET with food trucks, inflatables, vendors, live music, and more.

🎶 Live music will feature Last Call, followed by Old Soul Remedy
🎆 Fireworks will begin at dark, around 10 PM

Bring the whole family and come celebrate Independence Day with the City of Hodgenville!

American Huey 369 Remembrance Flight Coming to City of Elizabethtown Government

Join us July 2nd and 3rd from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Vietnam Memorial Wall at Elizabethtown Nature Park for the American Huey 369 Remembrance Flight.

This special event gives Veterans and the public the opportunity to honor our Vietnam Veterans and experience military history through a flight aboard one of two American Huey 369 helicopters.

Event Details:

Date: July 2nd and 3rd, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Location: Vietnam Memorial Wall at Elizabethtown Nature Park
Address: 1900 Ring Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701
Cost: $125 per person
Eligibility: Open to Veterans and the public, ages 4 and up
Note: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Payment may be made on site when registering.

Cameron Ponder VFW Post 12237 will also be set up both days conducting a recruiting drive. If you are an eligible Veteran, currently serving, or know someone who may qualify for VFW membership, stop by and talk with us. We are also recruiting new members to help create our brand new auxiliary.

Come out, support this meaningful event, honor our Veterans, and experience a piece of Vietnam War history.
