An NYC icon. One of the pioneers of Caribbean dining in New York City, Negril Village | Greenwich village helped inspire a generation and paved the way for Caribbean cuisine to claim its place in the city’s culinary landscape.

My first kitchen job was at Negril, so seeing them take part in oxtoberofficial is especially meaningful to me.

This October, they’re celebrating with three oxtail creations: their Oxtail Empanada, Oxtail Ragù, and classic Oxtail Stew served with rice and peas and sautéed broccoli.

From the classics to creative interpretations, Negril represents the evolution of Caribbean cuisine in NYC.
