Hey guys, Zoe here.

So this year today December 24th as well as 25th and 26th we will be open 8am to Noon and it will be me making all your goods!

Just an update. As you all know I have been injured these past few months. Healing is going well, surgery is not yet off the table so fingers crossed!

We understand how hard the temporary hours are, hits us hard too for sure. However we wanted to thank you all So much for your continued support and understanding.

We usually close Christmas but we are changing things up a bit. We are looking forward to the New Year with you all!

So for these 3 days it will be limited menu:

All our Drinks, Ice Creams & Banana Splits and Snacks.

We will not be doing food for these 3 days

So come down and say Hi!

We are closed for our holiday break Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will be back at it on Saturday 30th.

We will have our update menu, some new drinks and bringing back our most requested item, Ice Cream and Sundaes!

We will have a small variety of ice creams to start with and will continue to add more.

We will also be having a giftware sale to help clear out the shelfs and get new items in.

There’s a valid reason we never send an apprentice or new electrician onto a job this clean. It can literally destroy their entire career in the field. A typical crawl space out here is 18” tall, damp, and filled with rat or cat p**p and large spiders. It makes the younger guys tough to work in these environments and gives them a solid foundation of grit to build their career on. This week we’re wiring up a new house and the entire building site is so clean, it’s enough to ruin even the oldest of Sparky’s. Is this a hint the owner wants the office staff to deliver him coffee? Sigh. We knew we should have passed this project onto the next company. (😬)

THREE USK BUSINESSES COLLABORATE FOR BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

The Usk Bar and Grill, Mellany's Bakery, Café & Soup Kitchen, and Raven's Espresso have formed a cooperative partnership with their customers in mind. Patrons now have the flexibility to purchase food at one location and bring it over to one of the other locations to enjoy along with items from that menu. Usk Bar is a sit-down establishment offering handmade pizzas, chicken wings, salads, appetizers, sodas, beer, and wine. They often also have live music. Mellany’s is also a sit-down restaurant which carries soups, sandwiches, baked goods, and flavored drinks. Raven’s is an espresso stand with all sorts of espresso drinks, teas, and easy-to-hand snacks. They are located around the intersection of Fifth Avenue and River Road / Black Road in Usk, Washington. All three have pages where they post their operating hours.

Hey my coffee heads.

Just a heads up that our hours may change a bit (be shorter) while I heal from an injury I got a couple weeks ago. I am unsure what the healing will be but I will assure you we will still be open, with some limited hours during the healing period. I appreciate each one of you and all of your support and wishes of healing and offers of help.

We may be closed early at 12:30 Aug 7th and possibly 8th but that is TBD.

Morning guys! A water line broke in front of the Usk Community building last night causing all the eater to be shut off. I am told it will be back on later today.

Today we were closing at 12:30 due to excessive heat but as you know, without water wr will not be able to open.

As soon as we get the all clear we will be open and ready.

Please stay cool today, it is the last super hot day for awhile and we are so relieved.

Hey guys! We are open and ready tomorrow morning, regular hours for Thursday 18th. So happy be back.

We will have regulars hours for Friday 19th as well.

Update as per heat warnings this weekend.

Here at Raven's we close when the heats hits 98 degrees as our building, with the limited space and all the equipment, tends to be about 10 degrees hotter inside than out.

I am checking the updated hourly Forcast so we can know the exact time we will close for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I will post those hours each morning and let you all know as soon as I am able to.

Thanks so much guys and stay safe and cool, Sunday will be 106 so be extra cautious!
