To our absolutely wonderful customers.
Needless to say, this has been a uniquely difficult time for everybody. So, the first thing we want to do is thank every single one of you who have supported us the past few weeks, as well as the last 4 years. You are all the best, and the only reason we have stayed sane (mostly) this entire time. We love you and appreciate everything you have done for us. We honestly cannot find the proper words to thank you all enough, so please understand we really mean it when we say thank you. Thank you all.
Which unfortunately is why this next step has been so difficult for us to take. But we feel that we must. As of Saturday, March 28th, Wanna Play Cafe will be closed until further notice. We’re sorry we can’t continue to be there for you all like you have been there for us, but we feel this is the right decision for us as a business.
As it stands right now, we are unsure what the future holds for the cafe. Running a restaurant in the best of times is a difficult and risky endeavor, and in times like this, even more so. Rest assured that we will use our time off, socially isolated of course, to do a bit of soul-searching and analyzing, so that whatever decision we choose to make is the best one. If we decide to reopen once this pandemic is over, you will be the first to know!
Again, thank you all for everything. We hope you all stay safe and healthy during these exceptional times. Please continue to look out for each other, and don’t forget to still have some fun!
