"Our first experience at Tavolo was very late night and after hours, following a long stressful day at the hospital for a family member. Sal opened his door to us long after the last dish had been washed put away. The amazing staff was relaxing togehter at the bar. They made a small pizza and we felt like family. They lighten our heavy hearts as we worried about loved one in the hospital. We felt welcomed and care for. The pizza was the best, crunchy curst, slightly salty and perfect sweetness of red sauce! We are now regulars whenever in Utica and have been back many times. Thank you for opening your hearts and doors to weary travelers.
