A quick heads-up!

We have recently seen comments appearing on event posts from individuals claiming to have tickets for sale due to a "change of plans." These comments are scams.

Please do not purchase tickets, workshop registrations, or event admissions through Facebook comments, direct messages, Venmo requests, or any third-party source.

The only legitimate way to register for UXLocale events is directly through our website.

If an event is sold out, we will announce any openings ourselves through our official channels. We do not authorize ticket resales through social media comments.

If you see suspicious comments, please report them to us. We remove them as quickly as possible, but unfortunately, they often appear faster than we can catch.

Most importantly, please protect yourself. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Last day to sign up for Portrait & Pour! Registration closes tonight at 8 PM, and we’d hate for anyone to miss this one.

Also, I had an interesting phone call yesterday, someone making a reservation thought we only served white wine and beer. Maybe from Google images? Either way, it made me realize we needed to better showcase what we actually do here.

So, I spent part of today building a few new pages on the website highlighting our beer list, wine list, signature beverages, and mocktails. The wine list stays fairly consistent, but the beer list is always rotating and evolving. https://www.theuxlocale.com/beer-wine

A few staples we almost always have on tap:

16th GEN NEIPA by Murder Hill Brewing — stone fruit, soft haze, modern hops, 7%

• Fiddlehead IPA, Shelburne, VT — soft haze, juicy hops, balanced, 6%
• Lunch IPA by Maine Beer Company, Freeport, ME — fruity, resinous, clean finish, 7%

And honestly, we’ve been having a lot of fun growing our signature beverages and mocktails, too.

This week’s specials are stacked, the patio season energy is finally kicking in, and Friday night is shaping up to be one of those nights you don’t want to miss.

This Friday, May 29, we’ve got Goin' Nowhere performing live at the UX. A three-piece acoustic ensemble out of the Blackstone Valley bringing classic rock, country, Americana, harmonica, originals, and even the occasional guilty-pleasure yacht rock tune. No cover, just good music, dinner, drinks, and a night out that feels easy in all the right ways.

On the specials side: dry-shucked scallops with tangy beurre blanc, braised short rib in Nero d’Avola, burrata caprese, PEI mussels, steak boards, mushroom black garlic orecchiette, and more.

And somehow… There are ONLY THREE spots left in our Tea & Art History experience. If you’ve been meaning to grab them, now’s the moment before they disappear.

Experienced Line Cook – Proteins & Pasta

We are looking for an experienced line cook to join our kitchen team at The UXLocale. This position is focused heavily on proteins, fire, timing, and ex*****on, with some pasta work as well. Our food is rooted in the Slow Food philosophy and thoughtful preparation, but our service is fast-paced and detail-driven.

Applicants must be confident working a busy line, managing multiple tickets at once, maintaining consistency under pressure, and understanding proper temperatures, timing, and plating. This is not an entry-level position. Experienced applicants only.

We are looking for someone who is:
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Calm and organized during service
• Passionate about cooking and hospitality
• Clean, efficient, and detail-oriented
• Able to work nights and weekends

Training will begin immediately for a Mid-June position. If you take pride in your craft and want to be part of a kitchen focused on quality, rhythm, and growth, we would love to hear from you.

TONIGHT AT THE UX

We SOLD OUT of the gigantic scallops… but don’t panic, we’ve got another fresh shipment arriving today, just a size down, and still absolutely beautiful.

And tonight, Friday, May 15, we’ve got Stattic the Band bringing a two-hour jam session of funked-up jazz to the hill. Good food, good music, windows open, patio season creeping back in… finally. 🎷

It has been a LONG time since we printed T-shirts, but we’re finally bringing them back, and going all the way back to the beginning.

Illustrator Veronica Fish is reworking some of the original designs that many of you may remember from the early days of The UXLocale, while also creating a brand-new commemorative shirt celebrating TEN years.

Ten years of wood-fired pizzas, wine dinners, late nights, collaborations, music, art, chaos, growth, and community. It feels right to honor where this all started while looking ahead to what’s next.

Occasionally, we break away from business as usual to celebrate the beauty of the world we share.

Join us on Tuesday, June 9, from 6–8 PM for the Closing Celebration of George Komarnicki’s photography exhibition at The UXLocale

Free and open to the public.

George will be speaking about his artistic process, the stories behind the work, and his recent 10-day journey through the breathtaking Canadian Rockies of British Columbia, where he captured dramatic mountain landscapes, lakes, and wilderness scenes through his lens.

Guests will enjoy charcuterie, a cash bar, and the opportunity to meet the photographer, ask questions, and purchase selected works from the exhibition.

A relaxed and inspiring evening surrounded by art, conversation, and good company.

Friday, May 8.

Tonight, we welcome Mauro Depasquale and the Jazzed-Up Trio for an evening of easy listening that tugs at your heartstrings. The music starts at 7:00 pm, so be sure to arrive early enough. Mauro DePasquale 🎶🎹

Our 6:40 reservation slot is full, but we still have openings at 5:00 and 8:00 pm. To reserve your table, please call us after 1 pm. We never book the entire room, so walk-ins are always welcome, and the Bar is first-come, first-served.

Tonight, we’ll also be seating the greenhouse, and next week our college crew returns, which means the patio will be open, weather permitting. Summer is finally starting to feel close.

If you’re still looking for a Mother’s Day gift, we still have space available for our High Tea & Art History Lecture, which takes place on Saturday, May 30, at 12:00 pm Pre-registration is required.

And the menu…the new Steak Board and Caprese Soup have been huge hits. The Steak Board features juicy, perfectly pan-seared NY Strip slices, served with fried potato wedges, house-made chimichurri, horseradish sauce, and grilled pineapple-meant for sharing or treat yourself! The Caprese Soup is a comforting tomato broth simmered with basil and finished with creamy mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil. The shellfish specials, vongole and mussels especially, have also been flying out of the kitchen.

And there are only 14 seats left for our upcoming Tuscany Wine-Paring Dinner. After this winter, I think we are all more than ready for the Summer-Vibes at the UX!
