a tray full of iced drinks + a reminder that life doesn’t have to be so loud all the time. more moments of slowing down, stepping outside barefoot when you can, breathing a little deeper, choosing gratitude on purpose, and letting yourself actually be here for it. unplug a bit. soften a bit. protect your peace a bit more gently than you used to 🤍

make a little splash in the lake. feel the sun on your shoulders. set the boundaries that keep you feeling like you. trust the timing of things instead of forcing them. the good stuff still finds you when you’re not rushing past it.

Today & tomorrow our little Valley community is coming together for the 10th Annual Warrior Days hosted by Valley Warriors Against Cancer 💪🏼🎗️

There’s breakfast in the park, vendor booths, raffles, silent auction, plant sale, food, beer garden, and tomorrow’s Cars Against Cancer Car Show 🚗🔥

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, go support an amazing cause and some amazing people. Every dollar raised helps local families in the fight against cancer and that’s something this community always shows up for 🫶🏼

Okay y’all… after hearing approximately 47 different versions of what this power outage was supposed to be 😅 I decided to call Avista again to get a definite answer.

Turns out… we are actually NOT affected by tomorrow’s outage 🙌☕️

Apparently the first time they looked up all of Valley instead of our specific address (even though they asked for it 🤪), so PLEASE disregard the previous post about us opening late.

MK Coffee Station will be open bright and early tomorrow from 7 AM–3 PM and ready to caffeinate the Valley as usual 💛☕️

Just a heads up MK friends ☕️⚡️

Avista is doing a planned power outage tomorrow, Friday, May 15. I spoke directly with a representative and as of now they’re estimating power should be restored around 10 AM.

We plan to open as soon as the power comes back on and get your Friday rolling 💛

Trust us… we’re about as over these outages as you guys are 😅 We really appreciate everyone’s patience and support through all of it.

Pro tip: grab an extra coffee today, keep it in the fridge overnight, and throw it on ice tomorrow morning 🤌😂
