Chicken skewers with three sauces for the Covered Bridges Progressive dinner with Winterset Cidery and Covered Bridges Winery this evening as one of the two apps. The other was pulled pork sliders with slaw and sauce. Those not here missed out on some great wine, cider and food.

Hammer And A Fork recently completed a kitchen and bathroom remodel in this Perry home. During demolition, substantial termite damage was discovered so we removed the damaged materials and rebuilt it with new framing, siding and exterior door. Once the repairs were made we updated the electrical and plumbing to current standards, add better lighting in the kitchen, added new bath fixtures, new cabinetry, countertops and added an over the stove microwave/fan and dishwasher to the kitchen to give the owner all of the modern conveniences. Had a great day serving at the Winterset Cidery yesterday for Mother's Day. What a great turnout on a beautiful day. The chicken salad and strawberry shortcake were a hit.

Recently completed this bathroom makeover. We installed new floor to ceiling tiled shower, tile floors, updated the existing tub with a new epoxy paint, added a new vanity cabinet and quartz top and lighted mirrors. If you are ready to update your bathroom space, give Hammer and a Fork a call.

Completed the laundry/bathroom addition today in Des Moines. The simple addition provides added functional space for the duplex. In order to complete the space a PTAC unit to heat and cool the space for comfort, electrical upgrades to power the space and exchanged the electric stove and in room oven exhaust for a gas stove and ducted the new microwave fan out of the house. The homeowner is extremely happy with the results.
