Did you have an amazing time at this year’s Pride Block Party? Have you attended any of our free year-round community events, like our QTBIPOC Grief Support Group, Q***r Youth Game Night, or Q***r & Trans Mixers? Do you want to see more events like these in the future?! We need your support!
Our mission is to create inclusive community spaces where 2SLGBTIA+, BIPOC, and other historically marginalized people can connect, heal, and thrive. We do this by hosting joyful gatherings and wellness experiences, and offering resources that nourish the mind and body.
Dandelion has big plans to move our mission forward. These plans include educational workshops, more tailored youth events, “Q***r 101” classes for allies, self care workshops for trans folks, art therapy retreats, and so much more.
Recent surveys found that the majority of q***r and trans folks in our area feel that they do not have a safe, supportive community where they live, and, as a result, suffer from isolation. Loneliness and lack of belonging are leading causes of mental health struggles in today’s world.
