M is for Murder emerges from the mist-shrouded shores of Vashon Island, Washington, where folk noir meets confessional songwriting in the dark. Fronted by singer-songwriter-guitarist Melodie, the band weaves haunting narratives through stripped-down arrangements that feel like secrets whispered in low light.

With Gabriel Blake's measured percussion, Glen Rukwid's unexpectedly haunting ukulele textures, and Spencer Sinner's grounding bass lines, M is for Murder creates an intimate sonic landscape where vulnerability sharpens the edges. These are songs that know the weight of what's unsaid, delivered with smokiness that comes from living through the stories being told.

The island's isolation seeps into every note—the tidelines and the rhythm of life and the woods hold more than they reveal. M is for Murder doesn't perform so much as invoke, turning small rooms into confessionals and listeners into witnesses.
