Happy 4 year anniversary to us!! 4 years ago we opened our doors and I will tell you, after the first night it was instant regret😂. We were exhausted, stressed and overwhelmed. (We are still exhausted, stressed and overwhelmed but in a good way🙃) We had to cut the menu back until we could train more people and that took a while. Venus is a small town so once the 'newness' wore off, we struggled big time financially and there were times I wondered if we made the wrong decision to move here from the Chicago burbs. I remember praying one day for God to send someone to buy the business if that was the route we were supposed to take or for business to pick up. A few weeks later, Linda and Gene Winfield from Paisley Grace Boutique-Mansfield Store came in for dinner and were a delight, they left and made a post and business took off and it hasn't stopped since!
We are ridiculously blessed w great customers❤️. So many regulars that come weekly, some come more than once a week, customers who drive from hours away, customers who celebrate their birthdays, anniversaries and just everyday life successes w us. We appreciate those that get us and what we stand for.
Our staff...I could have birthed 95% of our staff age wise but man are they hard workers! Yesterday we got rocked, the pizza and cook line had their ticket racks so full we were stacking tickets on top of each other and they kept up and knocked it out of the park! My girls upfront are hard working, yesterday we only had 3 total upfront all day when we normally have 4 or 5 and we somehow kept up all pulling a double!
I think the saying is it takes 5-10 years for a business to reach stable success but 4 years in, I can confidently say I believe we are there.... God having his hand on our business, YOU incredible customers and our amazing staff, we are truly truly blessed and thankful!!
