Starting tomorrow through June 20th, we're celebrating with two fair-inspired specials at The Amsden:

Somehow it's already been two years since we opened Gathered Play + Create. 💛

Two years of play dates, story times, birthday parties, coffee dates, new friendships, and watching little ones grow up a little bit each time they walk through the door.

So we're celebrating with our annual teddy bear picnic. 🧺🐻 Join us June 24-26 for special play sessions during the 10AM, 11AM, and 12PM hours that include one hour of play at the cafe, then walk down to the park where we've rented a shelter to enjoy playground play, cake, games, and more! Bring your teddy bear and enjoy teddy bear picnic storytime, craft, and snacks too!

Rummage Sale THIS SATURDAY

Grab a Coffee & Go Treasure Hunting!

The rummage sale is back this weekend, and downtown Versailles is about to be filled with treasures waiting to be found.

Join us on Saturday, June 13th from 9AM–1PM for our annual Rummage Sale featuring 20+ vendors and sidewalk sales throughout downtown. You'll find everything from vintage pieces and clothing to home décor, furniture, holiday items, books, baby and kids' items, accessories, and all the unexpected gems that make rummage sale season so much fun.

Whether you're hunting for something specific or just love the thrill of finding something you didn't know you needed, this is one of our favorite days of the year.

The event is free and open to the public, with vendors and sidewalk sales located throughout Main Street in Downtown Versailles.

Grab a coffee, wander downtown, and spend your Saturday morning treasure hunting with us. 💛

We're just a little over 1 day away from our BIGGEST RUMMAGE SALE YET! SATURDAY JUNE 13th 9AM-1PM outside The Amsden!

Some tips for shopping:

-bring a bag or wagon for your finds!

-payments accepted will vary from vendor to vendor- most can at least do Venmo and also cash- always best to have a little cash just in case!

-no EARLY SALES please- please let vendors finish setting up until 9AM- we will have a sign out front where a line can start forming if there's early birds!

-arrive early to grab coffee before the sale- there might be a line during peak hours (and don't bring outside coffee from a chain unless you want to get a good side eye from Emily Schmidt Riddle 😅😂)!

-parking is completely open on weekends and available all up and down Main Street and at several public parking lots (behind the Amsden, Jane's School of Dance lot, behind City Hall, behind VFW, behind Rolling Oven/library, and more!)

-make sure to walk about downtown after and visit the shops- many are having great sidewalk sales too! AND Market Days is happening in the pavilion area behind the Amsden as well (https://www.facebook.com/share/17cg6YuuEv/)!
