Over the past several months, we’ve been searching for coffee beans that align with what matters most to us—freshness, exceptional quality, and a flavor profile that offers something truly unique to our community.

We’re incredibly excited to announce that moving forward, we’ll be partnering with Rosso Coffee Roasters! 🖤

One of the things that immediately stood out to us was their outstanding commitment to quality control. We’ve had the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at their roasting process, and the level of care, intention, and craftsmanship that goes into every single batch of coffee they produce is something we can wholeheartedly get behind.

Freshness will always remain a top priority for us, which means you’ll still be enjoying beans that have been roasted within the last 1–2 weeks. But now, we’re also able to bring a flavor profile to Victoria that is unlike anything we’ve offered before.

Today, my heart is with two of our local businesses that have recently made the difficult decision to close their doors.

As a small business owner myself, I know this is never an easy choice. I’ve faced those crossroads more times than I care to admit. I’ve experienced the sleepless nights, the stress of deciding whether to set money aside for taxes, make payroll, pay vendors, or simply keep the lights on another month. I’ve been there cutting costs where I can, stretching every dollar, and trying to find the balance between surviving and still providing the best quality products possible, all while navigating an economy that hasn’t made things easy for many of us.

I’ve always said this, and I will continue to say it: my fellow small business owners are not my competition. They are my peers, my friends, and my biggest cheerleaders. They are people chasing the same dream to create something meaningful, serve their community, and leave a little piece of themselves behind for others to enjoy.

These businesses will be deeply missed. They were part of what makes Victoria and our small business community so special. Their impact goes far beyond what they sold or served; they helped shape the character, connection, and heart of our town.

So today, I simply ask this: please don’t forget to shop small.

If you can replace even one or two purchases a week with a visit to a local business, you are making a difference. You’re helping families, supporting dreams, and giving businesses a fighting chance to stay open for years to come.

To the owners closing this chapter—thank you for taking the leap, for showing up every day, and for pouring your hearts into something bigger than yourselves. You should be incredibly proud of what you built. Wishing you peace, rest, and excitement for whatever comes next. 🩷

Over the last couple of months, we’ve been on the hunt for higher quality ingredients that truly reflect what we want to serve our community. From sourcing better coffee beans to finding products that can stand on their own, we’ve been intentionally making changes behind the scenes to bring you the very best.

Today, we’re excited to share one of those upgrades with you—our new Matcha blend! 💚

This sweetened matcha has a smooth, balanced flavor that truly shines all by itself. Whether you’re already a matcha lover or have been curious to give it a try, we think you’ll notice the difference.

🩷 We want to take a moment to give a huge THANK YOU to Jen for spending time with us this week and sharing her passion, knowledge, and amazing animals with our community. From reading Blake the Snake Likes to Bake to introducing our Junior Bakers to a real snake, she helped create such a fun and memorable experience for our campers. Thank you, Jen, for always being willing to pour into our kiddos—we appreciate you so much! 🐍📚✨

Today we’re wrapping up the final day of our very first week of Blume & Flour Junior Bakers Camp, and what an incredible week it has been! Watching these young bakers gain confidence, learn new skills, decorate treats, and create delicious goodies has been so rewarding and so much fun. We are so proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait to celebrate all of their hard work this afternoon. 🧁🍪🍭

✨ One last reminder! Today is the FINAL day to sign up for Cookies with Dad! We’ve extended registration until 2:00 PM today.
