As many of you know, some nasty rumors have been circulating about me and my business since our unexpected closure this spring.
I have not publicly explained the circumstances surrounding the closure, so I do understand why the rumor mill took hold.
Unfortunately none of these rumors are true and because they continue to loom over my business I have been forced to take action.
I hoped it would blow over if I turned a blind eye, I truly believed my community could see through blatant deceit and bad sources. But because it continues to ramp up I am calling on my town for some transparency. If you have texts, emails, recall a conversation or can attach a name to the source of these false statements please reach out to me.
I know it’s “easier” to do nothing, say nothing, but life isn’t intended to be easy… I believe that’s why so many people do lie. But time marches on and I have never seen anybody successfully bend reality to suit their cowardice in the long term. Even if you are successful at hiding your deceit from the world, you’re going to have that on your conscience and it will poison you from the inside.
These are lessons most of us learned as children, at least I did in my first year of Sunday school 😅 I’m sad that adults are choosing to line back up for this very hard lesson because the stakes are so much higher now, not for your neighbor but for yourself.
