The City of Suffolk Parks & Recreation Department has canceled the TGIF Summer Concert Series scheduled for today, Friday, July 10, 2026, due to impending inclement weather.
The series will continue with four additional concerts at Bennett's Creek Park, 3000 Bennett’s Creek Park Rd. featuring:
July 24 – The Deloreans
80’s costume contest, plus glow stick giveaway!
July 31 – The Steals
Military & First Responder Appreciation! Small gift to those who have or are serving!
August 7 – Anthony Rosano & The Conqueroos
Volunteer Appreciation Picnic! All are welcome, but contact us at [email protected] to get on the VIP guest list!
August 14 – The Band Monarch
Teacher Appreciation! Small gift to past and current teachers! Plus Zumba during the band break!
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. and the band will perform from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free for all ages. Concessions will be available for purchase, and attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for seating.
