We think it’s time we introduce ourselves! Hey Waco👋🏻
We are Armando and Courtney Fajardo, the owners of Segovia Wine Bar. Both born and raised in Waco, we are of Spanish descent and Courtney is of Portuguese descent as well. We love doing life together and you will often hear us saying we love getting to work with our best friend everyday.

We started Segovia together with wine in mind and tapas came along when we realized Waco didn’t have any within 100 miles! Everyday, you can always find one of us in the kitchen, running the front of house and even serving your tables. 🍷🍽️
Fun Fact about us: we just celebrated one year of marriage on May 25th which is also National Wine Day! 🥂

Here at Segovia, we truly value wine education and we are pleased to announce our newest event series: Somm Sunday. 🍷📚👓

Beginning Sunday, July 19th from 4-6pm, we’re pouring a blind flight of 3 wines selected by local sommeliers around the Waco area- if you correctly guess 2 out of 3 of the wines’ grape and country of origin, the flight is FREE!
Our first guest somm is Brooke Desrosiers from Opal’s Oysters!

 If you’re an industry professional looking to sharpen your skills, or simply an enthusiast who loves a challenge, our Somm Sunday special is for you.

Our worksheets are designed to give you all the tools you need to efficiently decipher what’s in your glass. All of the possible varieties and countries are also there as well! It’s just up to you to decide which is which!

This is a come and go, low-pressure, educational event and is great for solo enthusiasts, industry professionals, or event a date.
