This week, our co-owner, Jaja Chen, had the honor of representing Cha Community on Capitol Hill in DC as part of the Small Business Majority Fly-In.
Over two days, Jaja met with the offices of Texas representatives and senators to share Cha Community’s journey as a small business while advocating for policies that help entrepreneurs thrive. She spoke about the importance of improving access to capital, supporting immigrant-owned businesses like Cha, and creating opportunities for small businesses to start, grow, and succeed.
As a small business rooted in Waco & Temple, TX, we’re grateful for the opportunity to have our story - and the stories of other small businesses - represented in conversations with policymakers. We believe local businesses play an important role in strengthening our communities, and we’re thankful for opportunities to help elevate their voices.
