We love all kinds of pickles at Twisted Root, just not the financial kind. Restaurant margins are very small, especially when your burgers are very big, so the 25% restrictions are a financial pickle for us at the Root.

In addition, we’re not confident it's safe in some of our cities to ask our team all working closely in a kitchen - it’s impossible for them to socially distance. We want to see how the next few weeks go before we get everyone back to work.

Our goal is to be here for the long haul, so we will return in a way that makes sense for each individual location. All Twisted Root DFW locations, Lubbock, Tyler and Waco remain temporarily closed. Shreveport and Birmingham remain open for curbside, pickup and delivery, and patio seating is available in Shreveport. San Angelo and Winter Park (Monday) are open for in-restaurant dining.

We asked our buddy, Chuck Norris, to round-house kick the COVID, so we're confident we'll be chowing down together real soon.
