Celebrating 40 Years of Fire, Flavor & Community!
This year marks the 40th anniversary of American Flatbread in Waitsfield, Vermont. Four decades of bringing people together around the warmth of the hearth and the spirit of good food made with care and intention.
What started as a vision for food that connects us – to the land, to each other, and to something deeper – has grown into a beloved gathering place for locals and travelers alike. We’ve shared thousands of stories, hundreds of dedications, countless pizzas, and endless gratitude for this community that’s supported us since 1985.
From the original wood-fired oven, to now boasting 11 locations across New England, we remain grounded in the values that started it all: honesty in ingredients, intention in cooking, and love in every bite.
To everyone who’s been part of our journey – staff, farmers, friends, and loyal guests – thank you. You are the heart of what we do. Here’s to the next 40!
