It's official. We have sold the ELI to Dr. Riemer. Lori and I want to thank all of you for your patronage. I'm confident that Dr Riemer will take the ELI to the next level and beyond. I think he plans to be open this summer but I'm not entirely sure about that. Hopefully it will be. This is my last post as he will be taking over this page. Thank you for the memories!

Hello everyone! As you all know, we have the ELI up for sale. While we were in Florida over the winter, I was getting several messages from interested people and now we are here and available to actually show the property. There is still time for a new owner to be open for the summer because you wouldn't need to do much to prepare, since this restaurant/bar is well maintained and in turn-key condition. We still have the liquor license included as well, so give me a call if you are interested in being the new owner of the ELI and let's make it happen.

Hello everyone, we have an announcement to make. Since we closed the doors for the season, last October, we have been been doing a lot of thinking and we have decided to retire. We will not reopen this spring. The Emerson Lake Inn is for sale. It will be sold complete with everything needed for operation, including the class C resort liquor license, which can be transferred anywhere in the state. Tonight (Saturday) is the last night of our 2022 season. After tonight we will be closed until May of 2023. We want to thank all our customers who supported us this summer. We came to know and become friends with many of you and we look forward to seeing you again in the spring. If you are coming in tonight, see you at the ELI !!!!!!!

Hello everyone! It is another Friday night and our walleye fish fry has become quite popular. As you know our restaurant is seasonal. We will be closing after the first week in October, so you still have a couple weeks to come and get it. I want to thank you all for another great season at the ELI. Our customers are the best!
