Storm clouds over Walhalla earlier today City of Walhalla, SC 🌧 🌦 🌩 we need the rain 🌧

🚨 Here’s a view of the warned storm from storm spotter Morgan in Walhalla.

This storm does carry the “tornado possible” tag from the National Weather Service. With our very humid air mass, you’ll notice the cloud bases are quite low.

At this time, I don’t see anything immediately concerning for a tornado, although there is broad, low-level circulation that I’m watching closely.

Right now, the primary threat remains:
💨 Damaging straight-line winds
⚡ Frequent lightning

I’ll continue to monitor the radar and spotter reports and will keep you posted if anything changes.
