Wall Drug is a world‑famous roadside attraction and family destination located in Wall, South Dakota, just minutes from Badlands National Park. Founded in 1931, Wall Drug features shopping, dining, homemade donuts, Western art, unique attractions, and its legendary free ice water and 5‑cent coffee, welcoming over two million visitors each year from around the world. Although we are open year-round, there are times throughout the winter season that sections of our store may be closing early.

From the people to the places and traditions, there’s a lot to be proud of here in South Dakota! Wall Drug is proud to be part of that history since 1931 and part of the road trips that bring people here year after year.

We’re grateful for every traveler who pulls off the road and makes a stop at Wall Drug Store! 🤠💚

Over the years, we’ve welcomed folks from all over, and one of our favorite things is seeing those same travelers come back again… this time with their kids, continuing the tradition.

With America’s 250th celebration ahead, we’re looking forward to welcoming even more travelers down the road in 2026!
