It is with great sadness that the Onset Bay Cafe is closing its doors permanently. My last day will be this Saturday, February 2nd. First, I'd like to thank my husband, Jeff, for his hard work getting the business open and maintaining it during tough times. Thank you to my family and friends for their unwavering encouragement and support. A huge thank you to my loyal customers, many of who have become my dear friends. I had hoped to remain a fixture in the community that I love for many years to come but some things are not meant to be. My best to all!

Good news, no flu! Cleared by my doctor to return to work so the Cafe is open for business again. I will be baking away to make up for lost days so come in for some great hot coffee, homemade baked goods and a visit !

I apologize for being closed without notice on Monday. Tuesdays I am normally closed this time of year. Tomorrow is not looking very promising for me to be open again because I am fighting the flu and no one needs it! I hope everyone stays healthy! Hopefully see you on Thursday with bells on!

I am finding it amazing that people would use my business FB to make nasty, personal comments about me. I realize that there is a lot of mental illness out there so I would consider the source. Only a very sick individual would publicly attack a person's character who has done nothing to them personally and does not even know them. I apologize to any loyal customers who may see disparaging posts, whom I appreciate every day for there continued patronage. For all of you I feel blessed.
