Chef Bertrand Grébaut was one of those people.

His philosophy shaped the way we cook at Lutèce. It remains one of the foundational texts behind our kitchen.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be preparing a selection of recipes from its pages as our way of paying respect to a force whose influence continues to guide us every day.

If you’ve dined with us over the past year, you’ve probably already met Nate.

After joining Lutèce as a server, he’s become a familiar presence in our dining room, bringing warmth, curiosity, and genuine hospitality to every service. Now, we’re excited to welcome him as our new General Manager.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nate has worked in restaurants since he was 15 and shares our love of thoughtful food, great wine, and making people feel at home.

As we continue to grow, we couldn’t be more excited for Nate to help lead this next chapter of Lutèce. Be sure to say hello the next time you’re in. 💙

Join us tonight at Lutèce for a special evening with Andy Peay of Peay Vineyards (Peay Vineyards) in collaboration with Kellogg Wine Selections (Kellogg Selections).

Farmed organically on a remote ridge above the Pacific Ocean, Peay’s wines are among the most compelling expressions of the Sonoma Coast. We’ll be pairing a selection of their wines with a five-course tasting menu for an intimate night of food, wine, and conversation.
