MORNING COOK

We are seeking an individual who has lots of creativity, energy, initiative, dependability and experience when cooking on a line at a small breakfast restaurant. Listed below are some essential duties of the position but not limited to:
Cooking, baking, and creating a variety of breakfast menu items accurately and consistently
Menu planning and organizing for daily specials
Tracking, ordering, and putting away the inventory and stock
Prepping food stock and making prep lists
Having familiarity with a fryer, flat top stove, 6 top burner, and a grill
Keeping pace with the other cooks while keeping calm and staying efficient
Maintaining and adhering to all safety and health regulations and codes

Skills:
Multi-tasking while paying attention to detail and efficiency
A team player who communicates clearly, often, and easily
Must have drive and initiative that naturally keeps you busy and on your toes
Knowledgeable of proper food safety and handling guidelines while cooking
A problem solver who utilizes critical thinking to come to solution in a timely matter
Must have great cleaning habits for their surroundings and themselves
Able to stay professional and accurate while under stress, pressure, and time constraints

Requirements:
High school Diploma
Food Handlers Permit
1+ yrs. of line cooking
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and withstand high heat temperatures in our kitchen

Job Details:
Part-Time
6am-2pm and 9am-3pm shifts
Pay is DOE

Thank you for everyone that came in to support us today. Unfortunately we had to close at noon. We take the health and stress of our employees very seriously. We do apologize for the inconsistency in our service hours and the unexpected closures on some days. As a small business we are trying our best to accommodate everyone with the limited staff we have. We will be open tomrrow. Happy memorial day to all the families celebrating!

Good afternoon!
After some thought and careful consideration we have decided to CLOSE for the dinner shift until further notice. Due to economical hardships and circumstances this is how we're going to have to adjust during these times. We appreciate all the support we have received and it pains us to make this change but it is what is best at this time. Every day we will close at 3pm. Thank you for your continued support!

Must be able to work well in a fast pace environment. A quick learner who loves to keep busy and willing to give a helping hand. We do train our dishwashers to help our waitresses by bussing and clearing tables when its busy. Having the ability to multitask and enjoy cleaning will go far here. We appreciate all our employees and offer raises as we see improvement. This includes becoming faster, more efficient, very reliable, and able to do the work without much supervision or guidance.
Currently we are looking for a morning dishwasher. The morning shift on weekends is from 8am-closing and the Monday through Friday shift is 9am-closing. Closing happens at 3pm but it takes about an hour to an hour and a half to fully close the restaurant.
