I have dreaded making this post, but here goes... Locavore Kitchen is closing for good. 😥

The food business is tough. Opening a restaurant during peak pandemic (we originally opened July 2020) was insanely terrible cosmic timing. Add to that product & labor shortages, inflation, razor thin profit margins, a very labor-intensive & perishable product with just 2 people to do it all (my husband & I).... it has felt like an uphill battle that we just can't win. Our last day will be tomorrow, Friday Sept. 23rd.

I want to thank our loyal supporters; many of whom have been with us since the beginning 🙏 Without your weekly support, we would have never made it this far! We are so grateful!

Washington really needs more healthy options, which is why we took this risk. We'd love to see someone else (with more resources) take this on! So if you're crazy enough 🥴to want to open a restaurant/food biz, our space will be available mid-Oct. Contact us & we'll put you in touch with the property owner. We also have a ton of restaurant equipment to get rid of, so get in touch if you're in the market.

Whew! Busy week! Due to the overwhelming support of our local regulars, a couple special events & an unexpected large group order from out-of-town we have run out of just about everything we had prepped for the week! Unfortunately, we don't have enough time to restock & prep again for tomorrow so the storefront will be CLOSED FRIDAY AUGUST 19TH. So sorry for the inconvenience, but we hope to see you when we reopen next week! Thank you for all the support! 💚🙏💚
