With sadness in my heart I have to announce the passing of the most beloved entrepreneur in Waskom. On April 12,2025, Pam Philpot, owner of Pizza -N- More in Waskom took her final breath at 11:50pm. She was surrounded by family and went peacefully looking at her husband, Tommy Philpot, of Videos -N- More. She was a giver until the very end making sure all of us were ready until she said goodbye. Please pray for her husband and family as we lay her to rest this Thursday.

Pizza-N-More is permanently closed. It is not for sale. I never dreamed the last pizzas I’d ever cook would have been in early November before Tommy got so sick. He’s doing good now but I’m very sick now. Drs. don’t know what happened to me so no questions please. I need prayer. I’ve been hospitalized over 2 weeks and will be going to rehab. I’ll never be able to work again. I love my little pizza place passionately and have enjoyed serving Waskom for 30 years. To say I’ll miss it is an understatement. I’ve made many friends and watched families being raised through the years. Thank you to all who traded with us. I always did have the best customers.

Update on Tommy:
Today was his last dialysis treatment! He still needs a different treatment and to keep up with diet and fluid restrictions, but he’s well on the way to his kidneys being healed. Last Tuesday he was able to attend the city council meeting and he’s been walking without his walker the last week. Still no estimate about possibly going back to work, but he’s doing so much better. Thank you for your prayers and concern throughout this health crisis.

Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. After 40 long days away, he came home Christmas Day. This recovery is slower than we’d hoped, but he is getting better.

After being hospitalized for 20 days, Tommy was transferred to a skilled nursing facility yesterday for rehab. He’s really weak and excited to start therapy so he can get strong enough to come home. He’s frustrated that he’ll miss this month’s city council meeting on the 10th, because he doesn’t miss, but is determined to be there at the next one. No estimates on when we’ll be able to open again at this time. Please keep him in your prayers.

We’ve always had the best customers and many of you are good friends, so I wanted to give an update on Tommy. He’s been in the hospital since Friday, November 15th, and was just moved from ICU to a regular room yesterday afternoon (Tuesday). He is doing better but this may be a fairly lengthy recovery. He still needs prayers. At this time I don’t know when we’ll be open again but we do hope to come back, God willing.

We plan to come back to work as soon as Tommy’s able. Thank you all for the prayers and concern for him. He’s feeling better, but still pretty weak. I’ll post when we’re open again.

Tommy fell as we were getting ready to leave for work. He’s pretty shaken up, but okay. We’re going to close this weekend so he can rest. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Tommy’s not feeling well today, so we’ll stay home. Hopefully we’ll be back tomorrow.
