Jesse Roper is a modern-day troubadour; a Canadian artist defined by his authenticity and adventurous spirit; guitar in hand and a grin on his face.

Jesse, along with long-time bandmates the Pretty Good Band, has spent much of the last few years travelling the highways, byways and backroads of North America, bringing his own brand of modern, indie-infused Americana blues to fervent audiences across the continent. Known for his powerhouse live performances, Jesse is truly electrifying on stage - his soulful vocals expanding across silky guitars and hard-hitting grooves. Formed in Northern Vermont in the summer of ’24, The Sara Whitehair Band (SWB) has quickly
become known for their funky classics, deep-pocket grooves, and a fresh breath of soul in every
set.
Frontwoman Sara Whitehair, who hand-picked the SWB lineup, leads with powerful vocals and
her signature soulful sax style. The band’s tight rhythm section—Chris Lynch (guitar), Dan
Swain (bass), Perry Heller (drums), and Chris Zebal (keys)—lays down an irresistible foundation
that keeps crowds moving.
SWB’s newest member, Zaq Meyer (Long Beach Dob Allstars; Double U) brings a powerful new

🎤 ABOUT THE ARTIST
Sometimes the raddest bands are formed by chance. Originally assembled by Evan Jennison for a one-off gig, this stacked cast of some of VT’s finest includes Matt Schrag (mandolin), Luke Auriemmo (banjo), Evan Barker (bass), Roland Clark (fiddle) and Jennison himself. Upon completing their maiden set and observing resounding “hell yeah’s” from parties both outside of and within the band, they came to the decision that it would be in everyone’s interest to do some more gigs. They’re back on 6/10 at Zenbarn to play and celebrate the music of the Dead, Old and In the Way and the Garcia/Grisman universe with a modern psych-grass approach.
