The Waterloo Historic Preservation Commission is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2026 Annual Awards: Cierra Newman and Pinecrest Construction, LLC. Both honorees are being recognized for their outstanding efforts in preserving and enhancing the historic character of Waterloo.

The awards will be presented during the Commission’s Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, May 14, 2026, held at the Grout Museum. The evening will begin with a social hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., followed by the awards program from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. A cash bar will be available.

The event is held in conjunction with Main Street Waterloo's Tour de Loo event, offering attendees an opportunity to celebrate historic preservation while enjoying one of the community’s signature events.
