🚜 Hayrides & guided tours to the Revolutionary War Battle of the Great Cane Brake site

🌤️ Is this event rain or shine?
Yes! The SC250 Colonial Picnic will take place rain or shine. The current forecast is looking beautiful — partly sunny with a high around 82° — so bring your sunscreen, umbrellas for shade, and get ready for a wonderful day on the farm! 🇺🇸

🍕 FOOD & DRINKS
Guests are absolutely welcome to bring picnic blankets, lawn chairs, coolers, snacks, or their own picnic lunches!
☂️ We kindly ask guests not to bring canopy tents. Personal umbrellas for shade and sun protection are absolutely welcome.
We will also have wonderful food & drink vendors on site throughout the day, including:

Everyone! This is a family-friendly, all-ages community event — perfect for children, families, history lovers, and anyone looking for a meaningful day outdoors.

• Even though we will have food trucks, you are welcome to bring your own food/picnic items
• Sunscreen / hats
• Portable cell phone chargers

• A small item (to fit in the palm of your hand) to contribute to our America250 Time Capsule
• DAR Service Initiative: We’ll be collecting NEW stuffed animals (8–10 inches tall) at the Welcome Table for local law enforcement officers to give to children in crisis situations.

🎓 Service Opportunities (Great for Teens!)
Earn community service hours by:
• Writing letters to veterans
