We are happy to keep you informed of the changes and ideas we have come up with, with your help!
Thank you to all that offered suggestions, reached out and going above and beyond to make this successful!
First of all we'd like to thank Allana Weeks Jakubowski for taking time on her day off, coming in to meet with us and offering her help with flyer distribution and in so many other ways! It was great to chat with you! Also to Joy, owner of TacoJoy on Washington Street in Watertown for the new flyer design posted below and also distribution. We can't thank you ladies enough!
📅We are unable to change the day this year but will consider a day change for next year!
🚗🫧 We are currently looking for any group (preferably kids but adults are welcome too, kids must be supervised by adults) to utilize our self serve car wash on Sundays. We will supply the soap and buckets for a good old fashioned carwash fundraiser. You charge whatever you'd like or by donation, you'd only be responsible for the quarters fed into the machines to cover the cost of water - then your group keeps the profits! You would also have to make your own poster board signs and have the kids out front advertising and bringing in your customers. We feel this is a win win for the entire community! If you have a ball team, girl scouts, boy scouts, club, whatever it may be, reach out and we will get you set up!
🎫🎟 We will be reaching out to area businesses for donations of items or gift certificates for our 50/50's giveaways and raffles. Donating will help advertise for us and you as well. We feel by coming together to bring in business benefits the entire community. We appreciate any help with donations, if we haven't reached out to you yet feel free to reach out to us!
💥Starting this Sunday we will start vendor booths on the side of the building (washroom side) and work around to the back. We can't do directly in the front because of laundromat (and hopefully carwash) traffic. But, hopefully a little more visibility will help! There will be alot more parking availability on the grass outback as well.
💸 We have decided to waive the first week vendor fee for any vendor willing to come join and check us out! The more vendors we have the better! Our new plan allows for up to 40 vendors!
🥒🫑🍅 We are working on bringing in produce!! We have 2 vendors looking to come but they are not quite ready. If there are any farms out there that have produce ready but can't attend as a vendor, but would be willing to sell us your locally grown produce we are willing to chat!
🎈🎈We have a balloon animal man booked for July 26th and as he is able to attend. To help us out he has waived his fee and will be working for donations!! We will have donation jars placed all around, So PLEASE bring those kids and support this man for his generosity!! Thank you Michael we appreciate you!!
🐐🫏🦙We have officially booked the petting zoo from Lucky Ring Ranch strategically set on August 30th. One last activity for families before back to school! It will be absolutely FREE to the public! Mark your calendars now!! We can't wait!!
That is all we have for now but we are still working hard on ideas and suggestions. We once again thank everyone for the ideas, suggestions, reaching out, and support!
