What an incredible night for our community at Chefs Take a Stand 2026! ✨

We’re proud to share that Wartburg College was represented in a big way, with Chef Jami earning Best Dish honors. This recognition highlights the talent, creativity, and dedication our Dining Services team brings to the table every day.

Even more inspiring, the event raised over $30,000 to support the mission of creating a future where Everyone Has A Home. We’re grateful to be part of a community that shows up, gives back, and stands together.

Last week’s surprise edition of Adventurous Eats Club transported our students straight to Italy 🇮🇹✨

Guests were delighted with a five-course Italian experience featuring fresh bruschetta, rich pasta carbonara, tender osso buco, a classic caprese salad, and a sweet finish of tiramisu gelato. Each dish highlighted traditional flavors and brought a taste of Italy right to campus.

The excitement of the surprise theme made the evening even more special, creating a memorable dining experience centered around culture, community, and great food.

Dining Services is proud to celebrate Chef Jami for giving back in a big way!

Through her donation of a private chef experience to the Empty Bowls fundraiser, she helped support the incredible work of the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Thanks to the generosity of donors and community members, this year’s event raised over $44,000 to fight hunger across our region.

We’re inspired by Chef Jami’s commitment to service and the power of food to bring people together for a greater cause. 💙🍽️

We were proud to host the Chamber of Commerce for a dinner that brought our community together around great food and hospitality.

Over 100 guests enjoyed a thoughtfully prepared menu, starting with fresh salads, followed by Tuscan chicken with tricolor rotini and roasted zucchini. The evening concluded on a sweet note with New York cheesecake, served with a choice of two house-made fruit compotes. 🍰
