Oh, Wayne America, do we have a wonderful month ahead of us! November is one of our favorite times of the year here at HIS Baking Co. Between the delicious food, the holiday traditions, and the opportunity to give back to this amazing community, there is SO much to look forward to!
So grab your coffee, because we've got some fun things to share...aka...LONG POST ALERT!
🥣 WARM WEDNESDAY IS BACK!
We're kicking off November with homemade Loaded Baked Potato Soup! Creamy, hearty, and full of all that delicious comfort food goodness. And don't forget, our Wednesday soup and sourdough special is UNLIMITED when you dine in from 11 AM to 1 PM! Come hungry, bring a friend, and let us take care of lunch!
🥧 NOVEMBER IS PIE MONTH!
That's right! All month long, our featured donuts will be inspired by one of the greatest things about Thanksgiving... PIE!
And we're starting with a good one!
🫐 BLUEBERRY PIE BISMARCK!
Imagine a fluffy, homemade Bismarck stuffed full of delicious blueberry filling and topped with a buttery crumble. It's everything you love about blueberry pie, wrapped up in a donut!
And here's a little tip from us. ASK FOR IT WARMED UP! 🤤 Trust us on this one!
We'll be bringing you more pie-inspired donuts throughout November, so keep an eye on our case!
🦃 ANNUAL THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY FEAST!
Now, this one is especially close to our hearts.
Thanksgiving is about so much more than the food. It's about gratitude, fellowship, family, and making sure that everyone has a place at the table.
Once again, HIS Baking Co. will be hosting a FREE Thanksgiving Community Feast at the Wayne City Auditorium!
This event is for those who may not have somewhere to go for the holiday, those who may be spending Thanksgiving alone, or anyone who could simply use a warm meal and a little fellowship.
And the beautiful thing? We aren't doing this alone.
So many incredible area businesses, generous individuals, and anonymous donors have stepped forward to help make this meal possible. We cannot begin to express how grateful we are for the hearts of the people in this community. Shout Outs: Wayne America Refind & Refresh I Wet My Plants Davis Ford
This year's menu is a traditional Thanksgiving feast!

🍖 Ham
🥔 Cheesy Potatoes
🥖 Fresh Buns
🌽 Buttered Corn
🥧 And OF COURSE!! Homemade Pie!
Our hope is that everyone who walks through those doors feels welcomed, loved, and reminded that they matter. That's what this season is all about.

Speaking of pie! We are now accepting orders for our homemade holiday pies!

We absolutely LOVE the holidays. Not because of the hustle and bustle, the decorations, or even all the delicious things coming out of our ovens (although we do love those, too!).
We love this season because it gives us another opportunity to serve, to love on people, and to be reminded just how blessed we are.
When we look around at what God has allowed us to build here in Wayne, we are humbled. Every customer who walks through our doors, every business that partners with us, every employee who pours their heart into this place, and every person who supports our little bakery is part of something so much bigger than donuts and coffee.
We are so thankful for YOU, Wayne America.
