I want to address something that happened in the cafe today. But first I want to thank our customers for supporting our small business.
We work hard always and we do our best. Occasionally we make mistakes including getting an order wrong or losing an order slip. Both happened today. The first customers handled it with understanding and grace. The second, unfortunately, not so much and berated one of our most loyal and talented employees while the cafe was full. (I was out back baking cakes and missed it otherwise I would have addressed it on the spot). We will always try to right wrongs, but mistreating people at the sweet spot is not ok. Be kind always or move along.
