One of the best parts about living in a community like Weatherford is the relationships built along the way. Businesses here become part of people’s routines, family traditions, and everyday life, and that’s something neither of us takes lightly.

Over the last year, many of you have known Shawn Allen and David Hart together through The Malt Shop, and we’re both incredibly thankful for the support, encouragement, and friendships that came with it. Seeing families gather, kids enjoy shakes after games, and the community continue supporting local business has meant a lot to both of us.

As we head into a new season, David will be stepping back from The Malt Shop to focus full-time on helping Frontline HVAC Services and Ride With Hart, while Shawn will continue assisting The Malt Shop moving forward under the guidance of the current GM Debra. We would also like to announce that we will be expanding our presence to the Peaster area as we have signed a lease for the former Merls location.

We simply wanted to share this directly with the community and thank everyone who has supported us along the way. Small towns are built on people showing up for one another, and Weatherford continues to do exactly that every day.

Thank you again for supporting local businesses, local families, and the people behind them.

🎉 What a day at Springtown Middle School Field Day! 🎉

The Malt Shop had an amazing time yesterday serving up sweet treats and bold bites to all the students, staff, and families. From energy drinks to chili cheese fries and cheeseburgers, you all showed up hungry and we loved every minute of it! 🍔🍟🥤

Thank you, Springtown Middle School, for making our first event such a huge success. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to bring the nostalgia (and the flavor!) to even more events.
