Mel and Lauren here. We’re a couple of fly sistas/entreprenures from New Hampshire. The idea for Blended Bliss came to us in the summer of 2014 while living in southern California. We were both putting our newly earned business degrees to work in the traditional corporate arena but knew that life wouldn't suit us for long. With the combination of a sweet acai treat we discovered in the local beac

h towns, our thriving entrepreneurial spirits, and the east coast calling us home we were inspired to skip away and start planning WORLD DOMINATION… sorry, to start planning Blended Bliss (it's easy to get the two confused)!

We are SO bad at keeping up with social media but we wanted to give a shout-out to Tendercrop Farm for hosting a stellar event over the weekend. The Sunflower Festival was a hit and we loved watching everyone enjoy all the activities and indulge in all the great food! Beautiful weekend with amazing people and businesses! Hey friends!

It’s that time of year again and we’ve got some news to share. We’ve had an amazing 3 years in Wells BUT Blended Bliss will be taking a hiatus from operating full-time. As some of you know, we ran into issues with the town last season that we tried to work out but unfortunately we were not successful in negotiating the terms of our ordinances. So what does this mean for Blended Bliss? It means we get to participate in some really cool events around New England and it will also give us (a little) free time to focus on other projects (including the future growth for BB!) This change has also given us room to embark on our biggest business venture yet! We truly love our little seaside business but especially all our dedicated patrons who visit us rain or shine! We certainly have a new appreciation for the term “bittersweet” because that’s really what this is.

We hope everyone in Wells (especially those down by the Eastern Shore lot) have a great kick-off to summer and that there’s plenty of sun and fun to be had all season long!

LAST.DAY.IS.HERE. What a beautiful day for a summer sendoff! Lauren and I are excited and also sad for this season to be coming to an end. We're tired and our smoothie-making hands are hurting but we've still got energy for one last day of blending :-) Atlantic Ave, 12pm, be there or be square!

Hey friends! With many schools starting back up this week, it's been absolutely empty at the beach. Lauren and I are taking the next 3 days off to stock up, chop and freeze fruit, and get some stretching in for our last weekend of the summer! It's been an exhausting season for us but we'll be prepared for everyone come Friday! We hope you all have a great week and for those going back to school, students and teachers alike, good luck! ;-)

Only 13 days left until the season comes to a close! With this forecasted weather it looks like we'll be working everyday through Labor Day so we hope to see you out there! It's been great serving (and talking to) all of our patrons this summer and we hope these last days before school returns (sorry kids) are happy and sun-filled! 😁

Thanks again for your patience as we're adjusting to our new 15 minute routine. Sorry to those who we've had to close our window on (some of you more than once) before we could get to you! We're doing our best with the rules we've been given.
