For more than 170 years, this stretch of Cape Cod coastline has faced the open waters of Nantucket Sound — through dense fog, howling winds, crashing waves and long nights when a single light helped sailors find their way.

Imagine the stories that have passed through here.

Lighthouse keepers keeping watch through the night. Ships appearing through the fog. Powerful storms battering the shoreline. Generations coming and going beneath the same lighthouse.

Today, the summer crowds are gone. The beach is quiet. The nights are longer. And when the October fog rolls in, it’s easy to feel just how old this place really is.

More than a century and a half of storms, sailors and stories live along this shoreline.

Some were written down.

We have a feeling the best ones weren’t…

Postcards from a summer well spent 🌊

Salt air, long dinners by the water, afternoons on the beach and sunsets we wished would last a little longer.
