This was the very first time in 12 years of running our restaurant together as siblings that something like this has ever happened and we wanted to write it down so we would never forget it 📜❤️
At 9:30 PM last night, we rushed into our favorite steakhouse because we were just done as a diswasher and afraid they were about to close and we wouldn’t make it in time. It’s not often that we get to eat out. Most days, we spend 10 hours in the restaurant. But we are happy doing it. And whenever tips are especially good, on the last Tuesday of the month, we siblings reward ourselves with something delicious 🎀
But tonight was different.😱
We finished our meal, it was absolutely wonderful😍👍 and called the server to pay. That’s when she smiled and said: “Someone already paid for you.”🤨
We froze for 2 seconds and asked, “Who⁉️”
She said, “I think they were your customers… they already left. Maybe they were happy with the meals at your restaurant and wanted you to experience happiness with your own meal too.” ❤️
Oh my goodness…
I truly hope somehow you come across this message one day, because we want you to know something:
In the past 12 years, we’ve witnessed many beautiful moments in our restaurant, one customer secretly paying for another customer’s meal, creating smiles for the giver, the receiver, and for us who got to witness it all😘But when it happens to you personally… it touches our hearts in the completely different way ❤️
For you, it may have simply been treating a friend to dinner.
But for us, it became a gift🏆 we never expected to receive 🎖️
A kindness and friendship we will never forget.
First of all… thank you from the bottom of our hearts 🙏
And secondly… why didn’t you tell us first so we could’ve ordered food to-go too? 😜🤣Just kidding.
