Double checking my whipped shortbread cookies today! A perfect companion cookie to your plate full of other decadent delights. These aren’t overly sweet but instead gently sweet buttery deliciousness. They have a great texture and melt in your mouth. 😋

Hello! Long time, no post, yeah? Just sharing a cake and cupcakes I made last week for my in laws 40th anniversary. It took me two tries but for my first drip cake I'm happy! 🙂 Vanilla blueberry cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream.

Hi Home Slice Bakery Friends!
My family and I are only a couple weeks from moving into our new home! (Insert feeling of joy and relief here) Don't worry we aren't moving far. It has taken so much longer than planned with lots of unexpected bumps and turns in the road. Despite it all we hope it will be even better than we planned for our family! My bakery things are still packed away in boxes. I keep dreaming about my future kitchen and all the creations I will make once we get unpacked. Once that happens I will slowly start up again but do it "as a friend" until we decide on a more concrete plan. I haven't been around facebook much lately! Sorry about that! We have our house on the market and man, talk about staying busy and anxiety! lol! Don't worry we will be staying in the area and hopefully be working toward having a bigger/better bakery space in the house!! Woo! For now I am still available for orders, just not advertising too much. :) you are all awesome and I hope your weekend is going to be fantastic!
