Five years ago, I stood outside this building with a For Lease sign behind me and a big smile on my face — not knowing what the next chapter would look like, but ready to bet on myself anyway.

I had no idea I’d make it to the five‑year mark… but I did.

Five years of pouring my time, energy, creativity, and heart into a place meant to make people feel wanted, appreciated, and cared about.

There have been ups, downs, late nights, early mornings, wins, losses, lessons, and blessings. But every single person who has ever walked through those doors has been part of this journey.

I couldn’t have done it without you — well… I could’ve, but it definitely wouldn’t have been as fun 😂💚

Thank you for supporting The Elixir, for showing up, for believing in me, and for helping me build something special.

Here’s to five years of memories — and whatever comes next.

We had a crazy June, so I'm hanging the Gone Fishin' sign until the 7th.

This is what the squad accomplished in June. One of my co-workers at my day gig keeps asking me how my little side hustle is going. To her, I'm going to say things are going just fine.

6/1 - bar service for a 300 person corporate party
6/4 - provided bar service for a business rebranding
6/5 - 4 bars and staff for a prep school's alumni weekend kickoff
6/5 - banquet staff for a prom in Hartford, CT
6/6 - wedding in Otis
6/6 - 4 bars and staff for a prep school's alumni weekend
6/8 - TiPS class for a hotel chain in Chicopee, MA
6/18 - event staff for a mental health seminar in Hartford, CT
6/20 - assisted another mobile bartending company
6/22 - ServSafe class for a convenience/package store in Wilbraham, MA
6/26 - bar service for 140 person wedding in Cromwell, CT
6/27 - WMASSTERS Charity Event
6/30 - provided staff for a young mother's event in Bolton, CT

Today's the day. Our Maddie P is an extremely motivated young woman who is going to do big things. On top of picking up shifts and being a Jack of all trades, she likes collecting diplomas. The pic is from two years ago when she graduated from Asnuntuck. Today she receives her Bachelor's from Western New England. Way to go Maddie, the world is yours.
