This Saturday, April 25th, we’re releasing our first anniversary coffee at our bom.dia_me café takeover!

We’ll be featuring a Colombian honey process Gesha from producers Juliana Guevara & Wbeimar Lasso. This coffee is bright and sweet, with notes of florals, herbals, and brown sugar sweetness.

Bom Dia will be serving it on pour over all day, and we’ll have bags available for purchase.

Come celebrate our first year in business with us!

The Countdown is On: April 25th

We’re taking over Bom Dia Cafe in downtown Portland for a full-day celebration of coffee, the community, and one incredible year.

• The Experience: Bom Dia will be serving our coffees on bar all day alongside their signature açaí bowls.
• The Anniversary Release: We are officially launching a special anniversary coffee that represents the very best of what we do. Be the first to taste it and grab a bag.
• Giveaways & Prizes: We’re celebrating our first year by giving back. Look out for prizes and gear dropping throughout the day.

Tomorrow is International Women’s Day, and we want to celebrate!

Let’s talk about the Soup style espresso shot, what it is and why we love it.

A Soup shot is a fast pull with a larger than usual ratio, typically around 1:4.5. This style tends to work really well with lighter, brighter coffees, which is exactly why we like using it.

For this shot we used andresmartinezg_3 Caturra Floral:
20g in → 90g out in 18 seconds.

The result is a super expressive cup with big lavender and mandarin notes and a bright acidity that reminds us of fresh grapefruit.
