Our summer platters are looking great! Refreshing, filling, the center of the party. We need at least 24 hours notice to put these together, and we can accommodate small parties to big get togethers.

New on our shelves! Kosterina Greek olive oils and their Italian balsamic vinegar. Pictured here with a fresh baguette from Nanas Westerly and a chuck of our 60 month aged parm. We only have a few pounds of this special parm left, btw. It’s probably going to sell out this weekend.

If for some reason I end up on death row and am awarded a last meal, it would probably be the combo we put together for this photo. Skip death row and pick them all up at our shop, open daily from 10am to 6pm. Special hours on the 4th from 9am to 5pm.

We have three perfect La Tur’s hitting the government’s best-by date tomorrow (Thursday). These delicious, soft ooey-gooey Italian cheeses feature a blend of cow, goat and sheep’s milks. Spread it over a fresh piece of bread, or a bruschetta chip or a Raincoast crisp. If they aren’t bought by tomorrow afternoon, I get to eat them, which is great, but I would prefer they were enjoyed by our customers instead.

Do you love cheese and are planning to go to the The Chorus of Westerly Summer Pops concert in Wilcox Park? Reserve a Pops Box that you can pick up at our shop on the day of the show! Each box will have three cheeses; 1/3 lb of Ford's Coastal Cheddar, 1/3 lb of Abbaye de Belloc, a small wheel of Marin French Triple Crème Brie (it's so cute!), a fig spread, some honey, dried apricots, a box of Olina's crackers (Gluten Free available upon request) and a little spreading knife. $75 a piece. Call us by Wednesday June 17th to reserve yours.

We have another tasting coming up with South County Distillers and Hauser Chocolatier! This one will take place on Friday, May 29th from 6:30-8:30pm at the South County Distillers distillery on Canal Street (next to Grey Sail Brewery).

Like the first go-round, we will feature 5 combinations of cheese, spirits and chocolates that have been hand selected to complement each other. This is a fun, filling and informative night out that can be considered a dinner. The Cheese Corner, South County Distillers and Hauser Chocolatiers look forward to sharing our love for these great products with more of you!
